Adapted from US patent application filed in June 1947 for ‘a new, original and ornamental design for a motor bicycle’. Inventor Corradino D’Ascanio was working on behalf of the Piaggio company of Italy and the scooter would be marketed as the ‘Vespa’.
Printed with vegetable-based inks on a carbon neutral press using responsibly sourced, acid free Italian paper.
