Gift Presentation

Gift Presentation

With the festive season approaching and gifts carefully chosen it's time to think about how to present them.

We understand that for some people this part is not so enjoyable, fortunately there are options available such as ready-made gift bags that offer a straightforward solution to good presentation. Simply wrap the gift in some colourful tissue paper, or just line the gift bag with tissue, then pop in the gift and tie.

For others, gift wrapping is a pleasure and very much part of the seasonal festivities. The choice of wrapping paper is the first important decision, a quality paper is a joy to work with, the paper folds and wraps wonderfully to give a luxurious finish to the present. Papers with a weight of 90-100gsm are ideal for this.

Now picture your presents under the tree in the lead up to the big day.  It is wonderful to see gifts stacked together and wrapped in carefully considered colour schemes.  Many of the brands stocked at Quince & Quill have curated their designs so that it is straightforward to pick and mix a selection of papers that coordinate together.

Maybe you like a traditional combination of red, green and gold? Classic silver and gold? Or cheerful and bright contemporary colours and patterns?

Here we have taken two fabulous papers by Anne Davison Studio, Wiggle Red and Wiggle Green. We love them as they are a bold, modern option of a classic combination of red and green. Once wrapped the must-have finishing touch is your choice of ribbon, bows or twine.

Mix contrasting papers in red and green and wrap with large gold bows for a traditional feel.

Or do you prefer a fresher, more contemporary design?  Choose bright coloured ribbons.
