Frog (1814) Card

Image from a woodblock print by Matsumoto Hoji from the "Album of Pictures by Celebrated Artists". The Japanese word for frog is "kaeru", however, it can also mean "to return". For this reason, the frog is considered good luck, representing good fortune in things returning.
